Or try this method:
Fold a 3cm x 10cm piece of paper twice, so that it becomes 1cm x 10cm. Run the paper against an edge to make it less stiff and easier to wrap around your finger. Wrap the piece of paper around the base of†the finger on which the ring will be worn. With a pen, mark the point at which the paper wraps around to the beginning, and covers the entire circumference of our finger.
Unwrap the piece of paper. Using scissors, cut off the excess paper. Make a ring with the piece of paper that you saved. Tape together the two ends. Try it on the same finger to ensure that it fits snugly but will still go on and off.
Cut the ring where the ends meet. Measure its length in millimeters and select your ring size from the table on this page. This system can only be used as a guide and is no substitute for having your finger accurately measured by a jeweller.
